Daily Loss Calculation

The Daily Loss Limit is determined by the account’s initial balance and the percentage specified in the plan:

Daily Loss Limit = Initial Account Balance × Maximum Daily Loss Percentage

The system calculates the following in real time:

Today’s Realized Net P&L + Current Unrealized P&L from All Open Positions − Profit Buffer Removed by Today’s Payout

The Maximum Daily Loss is triggered when the Daily Loss Limit is reached or exceeded.

Overnight Positions

After 00:00 (UTC+8) each day:

  • The Realized Net P&L from the previous calculation period is no longer included in the current day’s Daily Loss calculation.
  • The Profit Buffer removed by Payouts during the previous calculation period is cleared.
  • The Unrealized P&L of currently open positions continues to be included in the current day’s Daily Loss calculation.

Therefore:

Overnight unrealized profit continues to provide a Daily Loss buffer and increases the current available loss buffer; overnight unrealized loss continues to use up the Daily Loss buffer.

For a 10,000 USDT account with a 5% Maximum Daily Loss:

The base Daily Loss Limit is:

500 USDT

If the overnight unrealized profit is +300 USDT:

Current Available Loss Buffer = 800 USDT

If the overnight unrealized loss is −200 USDT:

Current Available Loss Buffer = 300 USDT

If the overnight unrealized loss reaches −500 USDT:

Current Available Loss Buffer = 0 USDT, triggering the Maximum Daily Loss.

Payout

When a 2-Step funded account requests a Payout, if the requested amount includes profits generated during the current trading day, the corresponding amount is removed from the day’s profit buffer.

A Payout itself is not directly counted as a trading loss in the Daily Loss calculation.
