Account Status, Review, and Eligibility
The status shown on the account page determines which actions are currently available, such as trading, submitting information, or requesting a payout. 2-Step and 1-Step move from a challenge account to a funded account; Instant opens a funded account after eligibility checks, without a challenge phase.
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| In progress | Trade under the current product and phase rules. |
| Target met | Challenge requirements appear to be met and await system confirmation or review; a funded account has not yet been granted. |
| Under review | The account or payout is being reviewed; related actions are temporarily unavailable. |
| Pending activation | The challenge review has passed and the funded account is waiting to open. |
| Funded account | Trade under funded account rules; request a payout only when eligible. |
| Frozen | Some or all permissions are suspended; check the account page for next steps. |
| Closed | Trading and new payout requests are unavailable. |
TIP
These names describe common account states. The account page determines actual permissions, next steps, and review results.
Freezing, Appeals, and Reclamation for Inactive Accounts
This rule applies to every account stage in 2-Step, 1-Step, and Instant. An account in active use has no fixed 30-day lifetime. The freeze and appeal process begins only after 15 consecutive days without any account activity.
No Account Activity for 15 Consecutive Days: Account Frozen
The 15-day period starts when the account opens or after the most recent account activity. The system's last-activity timestamp determines the exact start time.
While frozen, you cannot trade or submit a new payout request. You can still sign in to view the account, transaction history, reason for the freeze, and appeal entry point.
Within 15 Days After the Freeze: Submit an Appeal
The freeze starts a 15-day appeal period. Follow the instructions on the account page to submit an appeal and any required information. If the appeal is approved, the account is unfrozen and the applicable functions are restored.
No Appeal by the Deadline or Appeal Denied: Account Reclaimed
If no appeal is submitted during the 15-day period, or the appeal is denied, the account is closed and reclaimed by the platform. You can no longer trade or submit a new payout request. A payout request successfully submitted before closure continues through review.
WARNING
The “15 + 15” rule does not mean every account is reclaimed 30 days after it opens. An account with ongoing activity is not frozen or closed simply because 30 days have passed. The second 15-day period begins only after 15 consecutive days without any account activity causes a freeze.
See Account Termination Rules for payout treatment after an account is reclaimed.
Challenge Review and Reassessment
Completing Phase 2 in 2-Step, or the single challenge phase in 1-Step, does not open a funded account automatically. The subsequent review checks applicable profit targets, valid trading days, loss limits, trading conduct, and identity information. Trading on the relevant account is unavailable during review.
Payout requests, unusual trading activity, security concerns, and identity or receiving information may also prompt a review. Check the account page or customer support message for the result and any additional documents required. If you believe the facts, data, or rules were applied incorrectly, submit the account ID and supporting records for reassessment under Issue Review and Appeals.
Identity Verification and Regional Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use BitFrog. Identity verification may be required before a funded account opens or a payout is requested. The account page shows when verification is required, the steps to follow, and the documents needed. Completing a challenge does not automatically grant funded account or payout eligibility.
Verification may require a valid identity document, your photograph or a liveness check, and compliance information such as your address and country or region of residence. Information must be accurate, complete, and consistent with the account holder. Using someone else's identity, duplicate identities, or false documents may lead to account restrictions, paused payouts, or account closure.
Applicable law, sanctions, partner service coverage, and platform risk assessments may limit access for users in certain countries or regions. Current examples include North Korea, Iran, Syria, Cuba, and Crimea; this is not an exhaustive list. Check the relevant page at the time of purchase, verification, or payout request to confirm eligibility.
WARNING
State your actual country or region of residence. A VPN or proxy does not change your location and must not be used to evade regional restrictions.
