Challenge Process and Review

The profit target and valid trading days are counted separately in each 2-Step challenge phase. Completing Phase 2 is followed by a review; a funded account opens only after that review is passed. Check the purchased plan and account details for each phase's targets and maximum account loss percentage.

Phase 1

A challenge account is initialized when Phase 1 starts. Meet the plan's profit target and minimum valid trading day requirement under Profit Targets and Valid Trading Days. You must also follow Maximum Daily Loss and Maximum Account Loss and Position and Holding Time Rules. Once the requirements are met, close all positions and open orders. After the system confirms Phase 1, the account enters Phase 2.

Phase 2

The challenge account is reset at the start of Phase 2. Balance and P&L from Phase 1 do not carry over, and Phase 2's target and valid trading days are counted from the start. See Plans and Core Rules for the phase parameters. Once its requirements are met and all positions and open orders are closed, the account enters review.

Review and Funded Account Opening

Trading is unavailable while the account is under review. The review checks both phases' targets and valid trading days, loss limits, positions, trading conduct, and account and identity information. Reaching the profit targets does not guarantee approval. Check the account page for the review result.

If approved and no other funded account is actively trading, a new funded account is initialized and opened. If one is already actively trading, the new account opens after it ends. A user may have up to five unfinished 2-Step challenge accounts, but only one funded account actively trading at a time.

The challenge profit target does not apply again to the funded account, though trading and risk rules still do. Eligible funded account profits may be requested as a payout; challenge profits cannot. See Payout Rules and Request Process for first and later requests.
