Risk Indicators and Alerts
Risk Indicators
The account page displays current equity and key risk indicators according to the product rules.
2-Step and 1-Step
- Equity at the start of the day
- Daily risk threshold
- Maximum account loss threshold
- Risk allowance currently used
- Maximum holding period (2-Step only)
Instant
- Current stop-loss threshold
- 5% payout access
- Remaining allowance above the stop-loss threshold
When an account approaches a risk limit, users should promptly reduce positions or stop adding risk. Risk alerts are only an aid and do not affect enforcement of the rules. Reaching a risk threshold still ends the account even if no alert is received.
2-Step Daily Loss Risk Indicators
A 2-Step account displays the following data based on its current daily loss status:
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Daily loss limit | The base daily loss allowance determined by the account package |
| Daily loss allowance used | The daily loss allowance currently used |
| Daily loss utilization | Daily loss allowance used ÷ Daily loss limit |
| Remaining daily loss allowance | The remaining room before maximum daily loss is triggered |
| Daily loss status | Normal, risk reminder, high risk, or triggered |
| Next reset time | The next daily loss calculation reset at 00:00 (UTC+8) |
Daily loss is calculated in real time using the following formula:
Today's realized net P&L + Current unrealized P&L on all open positions − Profit buffer removed by today's payouts
Remaining daily loss allowance means the risk room remaining before maximum daily loss is triggered.
Example:
The base daily loss limit is 500 USDT:
Scenario One:
The current combined calculation result is +200 USDT.
Remaining daily loss allowance: 700 USDT
Scenario Two:
The current combined calculation result is −300 USDT.
Remaining daily loss allowance: 200 USDT
Note: Remaining daily loss allowance is not available margin or an amount available for payout.
Effect of Overnight Positions on Remaining Daily Loss Allowance
After 00:00 each day, unrealized P&L on positions that remain open continues to be included in the daily loss calculation.
Therefore:
- Unrealized profits carried overnight increase the remaining daily loss allowance.
- Unrealized losses carried overnight reduce the remaining daily loss allowance.
For example, with a base daily loss limit of 500 USDT:
| Unrealized P&L on Overnight Positions | Current Remaining Daily Loss Allowance |
|---|---|
| +300 USDT | 800 USDT |
| 0 USDT | 500 USDT |
| −200 USDT | 300 USDT |
| −400 USDT | 100 USDT |
| −500 USDT | 0 USDT |
Daily Loss Status
| Daily Loss Utilization | Status |
|---|---|
| Below 80% | Normal |
| At least 80%, but below 90% | Risk reminder |
| At least 90%, but below 100% | High risk |
| At or above 100% | Triggered |
Alerts
Alerts Within and Between Risk Levels
The system sends the corresponding risk alerts when risk utilization reaches 80% and 90%.
- Same-level cooldown: Real-time alerts at the same level are not repeated within 4 hours.
- Higher-level alerts: When risk utilization moves from the 80% band into the 90% band, the 90% risk alert is not restricted by the cooldown from the previous level.
23:30 Overnight Risk Alert
At 23:30 (UTC+8) each day, the system estimates the daily loss risk after 00:00 based on unrealized P&L on positions open at that time.
The estimate uses only current unrealized position P&L. It does not carry forward the current calendar day's realized net P&L or profit buffer removed by payouts.
When estimated daily loss utilization reaches the applicable 80%, 90%, or 100% band, the system sends an overnight risk alert at the corresponding level.
An overnight alert does not itself restrict position openings, freeze the account, automatically close positions, or trigger account termination.
Actual daily loss status is determined by real-time account data after 00:00 each day.
