1-Step Core Rules

Challenge Profit Target

The challenge stage has a specific profit target that must be met in accordance with the purchased package's page. Challenge-stage profits are used only for evaluation. They are not eligible for payout and do not carry over to the next stage. For detailed calculations, see "Challenge Profit Targets".

Maximum Daily Loss

TIP

Maximum daily loss limit = Initial account size × Maximum daily loss rate

The rule is triggered when the account's daily loss reaches this amount. Each calendar day is defined by 00:00 UTC+8. The maximum daily loss limit depends only on the initial account size and does not change with the current account size.

Calculating Current Daily P&L

TIP

Current daily P&L = Today's realized net P&L + Current unrealized P&L on all open positions − Profit buffer removed by today's payouts

For example, a 1-Step challenge account with an initial account size of 10,000 USDT has a maximum daily loss rate of 3%, so its daily loss must not exceed 300 USDT.

If the account first makes a profit of 200 USDT within the same day, the total amount it can then lose that day is 200 + 300 = 500 USDT. If it subsequently loses 400 USDT, the remaining daily loss allowance is 200 - 400 + 300 = 100 USDT.

For detailed formulas and examples of common scenarios, be sure to read "Maximum Daily Loss and Maximum Account Loss" carefully.

Maximum Account Loss

TIP

Maximum loss limit = Initial account size × Maximum loss rate

This loss limit does not reset daily and does not rise when the account earns profits. It is triggered when the account's overall loss reaches this amount.

For example, consider a 1-Step challenge account with an initial account size of 10,000 USDT. If its package has a maximum account loss rate of 6%, the maximum loss limit is 600 USDT. Account equity must never fall below 9,400 USDT.

WARNING

Triggering either the maximum daily loss rule or the maximum account loss rule terminates the challenge.

Effect of Overnight Positions on Maximum Daily Loss

For maximum daily loss calculations, the reset at 00:00 (UTC+8) each day applies to the previous day's realized P&L. Unrealized profits and losses on open positions are not reset to zero.

  • Carrying a profitable position overnight: Its current unrealized profit continues to count toward the new day's daily loss calculation, increasing the available daily loss allowance and providing more room for the next day's trading.
  • Carrying a losing position overnight: Its current unrealized loss also carries into the new day, continuing to use the new day's daily loss allowance and increasing the risk of reaching the daily loss limit.
